Quarantine Bioscope

It is said that filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes and express the foundation of your thoughts.

Quarantine Bioscope is an initiative to encourage budding filmmakers to keep their craft alive through short films or documentaries with no age or language barriers. 

Started in 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a medium for filmmakers and artists to keep their craft alive and hone their skills by competing with their peers. What started as a completely online initiative on Zoom has now grown into a full-fledged event with an offline screening graced by the presence of dignitaries and celebrities alike. 

Over the course of 4 years, we have screened over 250+ short films spanning across the globe, from various countries such as Germany, USA, Ireland, and Sri Lanka. 

The short film festival has pulled in a crowd of 400+ at both its offline screenings done in 2023 and 2024, whereas the online edition saw a reach of over 3500+ attendees across the country and the globe.

In tandem with renowned Bollywood casting director Rohan Mapuskar of 3 idiots fame, Ved. Graced by various celebrities of the film and television industry, such as Sameer Paranjape, Akshaya Naik, Ashok Hande, Nagesh Morwekar etc. The entire project is a non-profit fundraising project for a Social cause for our Cause partner- Team Vision. 
Cause associated: Educational Aid for Visually Challenged Students and Children of Visually Challenged Parents.
